AIM Day 2

Good morning, Habitat friends! We are kicking off day two of AIM, and it's been a great conference so far. Yesterday we welcomed over 250 friends to the Lansing Center, and we've still got more to come today. Our Exhibitors are here and ready to mingle, and our silent auction items from the Prison Build program and St. Johns High School Wood Technology program are garnering a lot of interest. We had some great learning sessions lined up as well, including a special presentation on Diversity and Inclusion and it's importance in nonprofit work, and a CPR certification course for those who work with volunteers. You never know what you'll get to learn at AIM, but our network is loaded with subject matter experts!

Our Welcome Event kicked off at 4:30, assisted by local band Oh Gee as they serenaded us with a compilation of old favorites and popular tunes. Old friends reconnected, and new friends built relationships throughout the networking event. AIM committee member Ernest Werth-Toward kept attendees entertained with his anecdotes and high energy, and President and CEO Sandy Pearson showed some love to our AIM Presenting Sponsor, Fifth Third Bank.

Today, Wednesday is the most eventful day of the conference, with a fantastic line-up of plenary speakers and ending with our 20th Annual Awards Banquet celebration. Thank you for keeping up with us online and in-person, and we look forward to hearing your feedback about this year's conference. Be on the look out for more photos, videos, and updates as the day goes on, and let us know what you're interested in hearing more about!

From all of us here at AIM, thanks for joining us and have a great Wednesday!
