The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was established to stabilize communities that have suffered from foreclosures and abandonment. The program will make a positive impact on local economies through the purchase and redevelopment of foreclosed and abandoned homes.
Congratulations to the 11 affiliates who were awarded NSP dollars through HFHM, and are working diligently to spend the money appropriately, quickly, and in accordance with the Habitat mission:

Grantees: please note that NSP compliance is very involved. Habitat for Humanity of Michigan is here to aid affiliates in this complicated process. Some of the necessary documents are available on our website, and can be accessed by clicking the link below. Most of the compliance forms are pulled from other sources, so affiliates must meticulously consult the NSP Checklist to make sure they submit the correct documents to MSHDA and HFHM.
Download the NSP Required Documents Checklist and some relevant compliance forms here.
Michigan Habitat for Humanity affiliates may contact Sandy Pearson (Ext. 11) or Nora Holden-Corbett (Ext. 14) for more information regarding the NSP program.
