Meet our AmeriCorps members

Volunteers in Service to America was founded in 1965, and became incorporated as an AmeriCorps program in 1993.  AmeriCorps VISTA is a program specifically designed to fight poverty.  Habitat for Humanity of Michigan became an AmeriCorps sponsor in 2003.  Since then, more than 240 AmeriCorps members have worked with Habitat for Humanity across the state.
