Habitat for Humanity of Michigan (HFHM) is the state support organization for Michigan’s 77 Habitat for Humanity affiliates which serve every county in the state. HFHM’s mission is to increase the capacity of Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Michigan to build or renovate simple, decent homes in partnership with people in need.
Michigan's Habitat for Humanity affiliates have pledged to adopt sustainable and energy efficient construction methods. The Habitat for Humanity of Michigan Green Team is dedicated to assisting affiliates to meet and exceed these standards. The initiative is lead by Thom Phillips and supported by three AmeriCorps/VISTA members.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding construction support, please contact the Habitat for Humanity of Michigan Sustainable Building Team via e-mail at construction@habitatmichigan.org or via phone at 517-485-1006 x21.
