Affiliate Councils

Regional Affiliate Leadership Councils

Three Affiliate Leadership Councils meet in Michigan.  These regional councils each meet six times a year and are intended for executive directors, board presidents and others who are in affiliate leadership.

  • Upper Peninsula Affiliates
  • Northern Michigan Resource Council
  • Southern Michigan Affiliate Leadership Council (SMALC)

Topic Councils

Michigan has five Topic Councils organized.  These councils concentrate on specific aspects of affiliate operations and are open to any staff or volunteers who have an interest in learning more about these topics and networking with others who share this interest.
