Bridget Ferrigan

AmeriCorps Program Manager

Bridget Ferrigan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a certification in Museum Studies from Michigan State University in 2008. While at MSU, she discovered her passion for social justice. After graduating, Bridget served with AmeriCorps through the Michigan Campus Compact*VISTA program at Olivet College and worked with student volunteerism and community engagement. After finishing her first year of service, she moved to North Carolina in 2009 for a second year of Campus Compact*VISTA and served with Pfeiffer University’s Francis Center for Servant Leadership. Bridget earned a Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management in 2012, and she returned to work at Pfeiffer University as the Director of Service Scholars to continue building community service and engagement programs.

After 5 years of funny looks every time she tried to point out her hometown on her hand, Bridget decided move back to the Mitten State with her husband, Alex. She has served as the AmeriCorps Program Manager since 2014, working with Michigan affiliates and other housing-based agencies to build community impact through AmeriCorps service members. She enjoys baking, crafting, in-depth conversations about pop culture, and may one day achieve her dream of appearing on Jeopardy!
